I also live in higher altitude Colorado. I was looking for a recipe with which to make frozen waffles for my grandchildren. This is it! Makes beautiful rectangular waffles all ready to freeze. The grandchildren pop them in the toaster, and these waffles are perfect!

I am also from Colorado. Maybe the baking powder needs adjusting for the ones who live in lower altitudes. Our waffles came out perfect.

Good -- Will try to make again because waffles were almost TOO fluffy.

I don't know why this recipes only has one review and 3 stars because the first time I found it there were at least 200-300 reviews and nearly 5 stars. This is a great recipe!!

I made up half a batch of this mix, and still had tons left over. When I made them the first time, they were good. After freezing the dry ingredients and using them later, the batter was a bit more flat. I think that either my waffle iron does not get hot enough, or this batter is a little too wet - the waffles tend to come out floppy rather than crispy.
