This was delicious. I cooked it 3 minutes on each side, and it was perfect. I added, as some others had, garlic powder, old bay, oregano, and 21 Seasoning Salue from Trader Joe's. No salt. Made some tartar sauce and sqeezed on some lemon. Delish!

Yum! Very good recipe. I followed the advice of other reviewers and added onion powder and paprika in addition to salt and pepper (would've added Old Bay, but I don't have any). Although a lot of reviewers said the butter wasn't needed, I decided to go ahead and use it anyway. I think it gave it that nice finishing touch. I will definitely be making this again!

Delicious recipe! I added the spices (garlic salt, pepper, crushed oregano) to the flour before I coated the fish as well, which reduced the spices I had to add directly to the fish. Also, instead of brushing the melted butter on top of the fish during cooking, I added about half a tablespoon to the olive oil, and then heated the two together before adding the fish, so the fish seared in the oil and butter. My fish did not need 4 minutes per side either, they were perfect at about 3 minutes a side. So yummy, cannot wait to make this again!

So easy and tasty. I am gluten free so I just made it with my gluten free all purpose flour (Bob's Red Mill) and it was fantastic. I added salt, pepper, and garlic powder. We will definitely be having this again!

I love this fish. This is a better method to grilling fish besides the normal way of grilling and I did not have to deep fry tilapia. This is a method between regular grilling and frying, and it came out great!! Thanks alot!!!

This was a great base recipe for pan-searing tilapia. I added some cayenne and paprika to give the fish just a little kick of heat. Fast and tasty. I forgot to brush with the butter, but it still turned out great!

Good and easy. I added old bay to the flour. I forgot to salt and pepper. Tested oil by putting a pinch of flour in the oil. However my tilapia tasted fishy.
