I'm not giving this any stars because we made changes based on the ingredients we had on hand. I used about a cup of leftover "Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce" (from this site), it's mostly cream cheese anyway and I added about a tablespoon of basil pesto. I didn't have cherry tomatoes so I used canned diced tomatoes (drained) instead. I seasoned with italian seasoning and some Mrs. Dash Original Blend and freshly ground black pepper. My son and I enjoyed it very much. (Site won't let me enter review without adding stars so I'm giving it five stars based on our final creation.)

I liked this recipe but I did make some changes. I just used what I had in my house so I chopped onions and garlic and added regular cream cheese. I cooked the cherry tomatoes in the oven for 10 mins because I love how they come out like that with the skin just cracking. I then added the tomatoes and bacon to the cream cheese mixture. I added some basil as well. It came out very good, reminded me of alfredo sauce. I will make this again

I thought this was a quick and easy recipes. I had most of the ingredients on hand. I rated it 4 stars because I made a few adjustments with what I had in my kitchen. I use low sodium bacon, so this helped reduce the sodium. Then I used a can of evaporated milk and regular package of cream cheese. I didn't have any tomatoes, so I used about 1/4 of a jar of roasted peppers I had. This added a little heat. I just added basil, bay leaves, garlic and onion powder as seasoning. I let this cook down, and just added a little milk if it thicken too much! It was delicious. I will definitely cook again.

I did make a few changes to this. After reading the other revies I did add more milk to make it creamy. Also used regular cream cheese and added garlic and onion. I live cherry tomatoes and have a ton from my garden so I added more then the recipe said. Very good and heated up well again the next day

I used canned diced tomatoes and onion and chive cream cheese, because that is all the store had. I also mixed in some asparagus tips. It looked absolutley beautiful, all pink and creamy! I only gave 3 stars because it was a little bland. Definetly needed some zip somewhere.

This was quick and easy. I thought it was just OK but DH loved it so we gave it 4 stars. I used chopped plum tomatoes, lite chive and onion cream cheese and only 8 oz. of dry penne. Good weeknight meal.

Very easy - and good potential. A few problems I had: First, the failure to find the garlic-herb cream cheese (looks like most of us can't find it, what's up with that?). I used the chive-and-onion blend, and added garlic, basil, and parsley. The sauce is WAY too salty and thick as written. It works out okay when more milk is added, but still too salty for me - so I would use plain cream cheese and add the herbs and garlic myself, rather than using the prepared spread; I don't think any addition sodium is needed with the bacon in the sauce to season it. It's still an easy way to make a decent sauce, so the idea is worth trying. Thanks!

This is a simple & tasty recipe. I used Chive & Onion Light cream cheese since that was all I could find in my local grocery store. While this is best to eat fresh off the stovetop, it does reheat well the next day for lunch. You can make this even faster by heating up precooked bacon.

I really liked this recipe, but my husband was less than enthused. It would be a great dish for a potluck or office party and it feeds a TON! I even scaled down the recipes for 2 servings and ended up eating it for several days. It's very easy to make and very filling as well!

Absolutely delicious. I made this for my roommates and they loved it. I wasn't able to find the garlic onion cream cheese so I substituted it with chive and onion cream cheese and it turned out great! I will definitely be making this again!

I made this for supper last night and there were no left overs. I did make a few changes. I used evaporated milk for a creamier taste. I also used chive and onion cream cheese (only flavor my grocery had that was not sweet). After I cooked the bacon and drained the grease, I add some chopped chicken and garlic. I sauteed that until brown. Then I did as the receipe went. We thought it was very tasty, and a very simple dish. I left the tomatoes out, but that was a personal preferance. Will be making this again!

Tasty dish...but we followed the recipe to a tee and it was a little dry for our taste. We will try again and add more milk to make it more saucy.
