These were pretty good! Next time I would try to flip them at some point during the cooking, as the only side that got crispy was the one touching the pan.

Easy, simple, and delicious! I sliced them thin for more of a french fry effect and they finished about 5 minutes early.

Loved these! Two tips: Keep the skins on and do not slice too thin!

Very delish! Just don't forget to stir around every now and than. I used white sweet potatoes and they turned out great too!

This is a great base recipe. I make these with olive oil, a teaspoon of fresh minced garlic and a pinch of nutmeg and black pepper. I omit the cayenne since the kids don't like the heat. The sugar is a great addition! I check them every 15 minutes during cooking, and flip halfway through and increase cook time to 40-45 minutes. Enjoy!

These were good, however I did bake them longer to get a true crisp to them. Next time I will layer the pan with tin foil, as I forgot to this time and paid the price in scrubbing. I think the sugar makes them stick much more than usual oven fries I make without the sugar. However the sugar gives them an amazing flavor. My husband loved them. I didn't add as much red pepper, as it seems like that would make really spicy fries.

These were very good and had a terrific flavor, but I'm still a little disappointed in the crispiness. Some things I guess can only come from scalding hot oil!
