YUMMY! I used this recipe with drumsticks and the chicken came out so moist, the breading was good and flavorful! Forget Shake N Bake, this will be my go-to "faux-fried" chicken recipe from now on!

Delicious!!! Didn't have enough bread crumbs so substituted with flour. Very moist and all love it. :)

Tried w/ mayo from kickin' turkey burger. Halved the amont of thyme& used boneless, skinless breast halves. The seasoned mayo provided most of the flavor here. Just kinda average to plain, I'm imagining without the SEASONED mayo. Doubt I'll make this one again.

Ehhh. It was not bad, but not really terrific either. Giving chicken a bath in mayo was more than a little disconcerting, but I had high hopes that it would be delish. I used Panko bread crumbs but otherwise followed the recipe. I like the commercially prepared box options much better.

I love fried chicken, but hate the mess so rarely make it. I would have never made fried chicken after working all day until I found this recipe. It's easy and tastes great! I didn't have enough bread crumbs so I mixed panko crumbs in with them and seasoned with garlic powder, thyme and seasoned salt. I used 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and had some left, so next time may try using even less. I cooked skin side down for the first half hour, turned once and finished cooking. I cooked at 375 for one hour total as someone suggested and it resulted in a crunchy outside and moist and juicy inside. I used 6 chicken thighs instead of a cut up whole chicken.

I am amazed by how many rave reviews this chicken has received. I promised oven fried chicken for our small group at church and chose this recipe due to the amount of good reviews. I made 10 pounds of chicken- a combo of drumsticks and thighs, and not ONE piece of chicken was servable or something I would be proud to serve. It came out soggy in places, if it even had the breading on it (most fell off). The flavor was not terrible, a bit too much thyme for my taste, but OK, but without the breading the chicken is bland. I may try this again one time for my family just to see if I can get better results, but for now I am about to stop at KFC to at least deliver something edible. Terribly disappointed with this recipe.

Excellent! Turns out a nice crispy chicken. I used light mayo thinned out with some free ranch dressing for a little extra flavor. I also added parmesan cheese in the crumb mixture. Everyone just loved it!

Very good. Easy (but a little messy with the mayo). I cut up 2 chickens for lunch leftovers and used two pans in the oven. Came out perfect. Much better than shake n bake out of a box. Very juicy and tasty.
