I made them exactly as described and they were awesome. I baked them on a stoneware tray and they needed about 5 extra minutes. Otherwise, perfect.

This is definitely the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I ever tasted. I made these cookies for my son and nieces when they were in college; they told me they had to hide the cookies from their roommates. Quick and easy. Try them!

This is an excellent recipe for pb chocolate chip oatmeal cookies!! The first thing my husband said was, "Wow!" They are soft and chewy and have good flavor! He didn't pick up on the peanut butter flavor, but I did! He was pretty hungry and he's a man... so he got the chocolate chip part of it!! Anyway, they are so fast and easy to prepare too... usually making cookies takes forever for me b/c you need the same measurement for most of the ingredients... this one was perfect... I got it all mixed up in about 15 minutes tops! The cookies were all done in about 45 minutes! I will be using this recipe again for sure! Thank you so much for sharing!

made these yesterday and was super thrilled with the results. Finally, a chocolate chip recipe that bakes up instead of staying flat! This will be my regular cookie recipe.

Another perfect cookie recipe on Allrecipes. If anyone does not like this recipe, they shouldn't be in the kitchen. You could easily sneak oatmeal into a diet of someone who doesn't like it and they would never know. It's a cookie with subtle peanut butter flavor and the chocolate chips rock!

Delicious cookies! I used milk chocolate chips. I also used 1/4 of oatmeal, simply because I didn't read the recipe properly. They turned out really well, anyway. I baked them for eight minutes, and they were very soft and chewy. Will definitely make these cookies again. Thanks!

Amazing! I made about 14 large cookies and the entire batch was gone in half an hour (mind you there was 3 teenage boys around!). My husband told me to never make these again because he didn't want to get fat. I added slightly over 1 c. of oats and think I would add even more next time. I rolled them into balls and barely pressed them down and took them out just before they were done to ensure a chewy cookie. They were delicious and I will be making this often

These cookies are wonderful!!! The only thing that I switched in the recipe is the white sugar measurement with the brown sugar...more brown sugar since it holds more moisture, made a very moist cookie. Oh, and I did use milk chocolate chips instead of the semi sweet. My kids gobbled them up along with my oler biggger kid (A.K.A. my husband) They also looked very pretty as well...see my uploaded pic :) (Not flat like a lot of CC Cookies)

Great cookie, love the look and texture. I'm not much for oatmeal cookies so having a oatmeal peanut butter, chocolate chip combo is what interested me. Nice change from the ordinary cookie but I do like mine a little chewy, so it gets 4 1/2 stars from me.

I have now made these cookies twice; once for a cookie swap at church and on Christmas Eve for Santa and both times they are a huge hit. The oatmeal offers a great texture. I only changes made was with the portion and the butter. I used 1/2 TBLS instead of TBLS. Still cooked them for the same amount of time and they came out perfect. I also substituded Crisco butter flavored instead of butter and they came out tall and fluffy. Please try these cookies...they really are OUTRAGEOUS!!!

These were good, but the combination of the peanut butter with the oatmeal was a little foreign to me. With the small amount of peanut butter, it was like the cookie wasn't "committing" to the peanut butter taste. If I made these again, I think i'd add more peanut butter, and maybe more chocolate chips too- those kind of helped pull everything together. Not bad though- my family is eating them quickly! :)

These cookies are the best! The peanut butter gives a nice surprise flavor and helps keep them soft. Chilling the dough for about 20 minutes beforehand and baking for the full 12 minutes produces the perfect cookie! This will be a regular in our house - thanks!!
