One of the best homemade salad dressings ever! Tastes like a very mild Caesar and consists of ingredients that are readily on hand. Will make this even if there is store-bought dressing in the fridge.

Yum! Tasted a lot like a modified Ceasar dressing. I did change from garlic salt to fresh garlic and added pepper, a bit of suger, parsley flakes, and worsteshire as other suggested. Definately a go-to recipe!

I gave this 4 stars because i made a few changes... Used 1/2 light mayo and 1/2 light sour cream in place of the mayo. I also cut back on the salt as the parmesan is pretty salty on it's own.. I also added some fresh cracked black pepper... Yummy!!!

This was very good and super easy. I used light mayo and skim milk. I didn't have enough parmesan cheese but it was still very good- the kids loved it and asked for more salad!

Ease of recipe = FIVE stars! Taste of recipe = FOUR stars! I wish I could give this recipe a four and a half stars! Talk about life saver! Husband and I were making salads for dinner, only to find out we didn't have any dressing! DOH! This was easy, delicious, and satisfying! The lemon was great at cutting the richness that the mayo and parm added. Followed recipe to the letter EXCEPT used already grated parm from Costco. DELISH!

This was DELICIOUS! I used whole milk, full fat parm and low-fat mayo, and it turned out great. It's an easy quick dressing to make anytime.

I cut the recipe way down and guesstimated amounts. I also took the unforgivable step of using the "green bottle" Parmesan (not enough of the real stuff), and this was still awesome. Thank you.

Love this dressing...we make it over and over. Watch the garlic salt as the recipe seems to call for alot. We use garlic powder and shake in a bit of salt to taste.

My God, this is good. I was forlorn -- no salad dressing, no sour cream, no buttermilk. But I did have mayo and lemons! And fresh dill, which I added, and it tasted super delicious! Thanks.

Great! I wasn't expecting it to be any good, but have been craving a creamy dressing. Used fresh garlic instead of powder, and used 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk, with a dash of olive oil and pepper for extra flavor. A little thin but very tasty, like a super super simple Ceaser dressing! I love that there are so many options for adjustment and experimentation. Have plans to try adding anchovies to make it more Ceaser-y, or maybe olives and feta for a greek style, and there are so many possibilities. A great, simple dressing by itself, or open to so many other ideas.

Excellent base for a creamy dressing. You can add any kind of herbs/spice to this and make it your own. I loved it. I rarely buy dressing as it is, and I probably never will now that I have a recipe to work with.
