mmmm, so tasty. Very refreshing in your mouth. Also tastes good if you add some sundried tomatoes.

The possibilities are endless with this by mixing in different ingredients - peas, broccoli, spinach, chicken, etc.

Good, but not my favorite. I doubled the recipe, so maybe that was the problem. I was hoping for a more creamier pasta dish.

OMG! This couldn't be any easier and so versatile! I quadrupled the recipe for a party, added sauteed mushrooms with the cheese and basil. It tastes like a creamy risotto without the hastle. Next time I am going to add some sauteed or roasted garlic to it. Thanks for a great recipe.

I played around with this one a bit. I did not have broth so I just added 1 1/2 cups of water + 1/2 cup of milk. I first sauteed garlic + red pepper flakes and then added the orzo in and sauteed. Added milk + water and some dried basil. At the end I added in some mozzarella and parm. Tasted very good!

One of my favorite recipes on All Recipes!! In a pinch, I have even used dried basil and Parmesan from the can and it still tastes great.

An excellent side dish to roast chicken! I used the chicken drippings with the broth for an even richer flavor, and a bit of chopped, fried bacon. I went easy on the parmesan, I preferred it without.

I love this recipe, it is a fantastic and quick side. I love rice but my husband doesn't, so it's my way of getting the texture of rice while still giving my husband a great pasta dish!

So good and simple. Unbelievably flavorful for adding so little. Butter, Orzo, chicken stock powder, water, parmesan cheese, turkey sausage, and spinach. I didn't know a dish without extra salt or any other spices could taste great!

5 stars for easy, 4 for flavor. Made it tonight with fish and Asparagus Parmesan and together was a great easy meal, filling but light. Will definitely make again!

I wasn't sure what to expect but this was very tasty! I didn't have fresh basil so I just scooped out a few spoons of garlic pesto. The orzo plumped up perfectly and we all enjoyed it immensely! Next time I will be sure to use fresh parm though, the powder stuff isn't very good. Thanks! :-)

My whole family absolutely LOVES this recipe! The recipe is 5 stars as is, but we don't always have fresh basil on hand, so sometimes we have to omit it. For a one-dish meal we stir in 3 links of crumbled/cooked Italian sausage once the orzo is done cooking. Also, I occasionally add a few shakes of Greek seasoning to change it up a little. I have to drive 30 minutes to find orzo in my area, so I usually buy 10 boxes at a time!

this was really good and easy and it smelled great. i did sneak a bite before adding the parm and i actually liked it better before i added it. i felt the parm really took away from the velvety texture of the butter sauce.my advice is to try it before adding it and if you think it tastes great as is leave it. thanks for an easy recipe using inexpensive staple ingredients.

I didn't have fresh basal or chicken stock so I used spinach, rather than basal, and vegetable stock, rather than chicken stock and it came out excellent. Great recipe!
