This was so good! I followed the recipe as written and I really would not change a thing. I was a little worried because the reviews kept saying it turned into a lumpy mess, but this did not happen to me. We had this with grilled tilapia so good!

Never made Orzo before so I looked for the easiest recipe. Found one! It was sooo good. I used can parmasen cheese was not as good as fresh grated.Thank you.

Very tasty combination! We substituted a few things due to kitchen limitations and a vegetarian preference. We used penne pasta noodles, mushroom broth and added some mozarella, red pepper flakes, italian seasoning, and fresh basil. I may try to add some broccoli and/or portabella mushrooms next time for a little something extra - but this was very tasty, indeed. Thanks for sharing!

I found this recipe very bland - even after adding extra parmesan and salt, we still thought it tasted really boring. I ended up with a ton of leftovers which no one ate and we threw away the next night.

I doubled the recipe and there was enough liquid to last til the orzo was done. I didn't let it boil for very long though, and when i turned it down low i really turned it down, so maybe this is why the liquid lasted? It turned out great, i added mushrooms to it as well.

Enjoyed the flavor of the finished product. Found that all of the liquid absorbed very quickly & needed to add more. Also, it became a big stuck together mess before everyone had a serving.

This recipe is wonderful and elegant. Comes across as being much more difficult to make. And the taste is superb. By far the best orzo recipe I've ever had. It is definitely delicious and presents well - I serve it to dinner guests and they rave about it.

Hubby says 3 for this one, I say 3.5, so I settled on 3! It was definitely good, but we prefer the mushroom orzo from this site, it's definitely our favourite. This made a really nice side to my Chicken, Mushrooms, Prosciutto and Cream Sauce from this site. Yummy!

This recipe is so simple, delicious and elegant! Thanks so much for sharing it. I made it a year ago for the first time for my kids and hubby (who loved it) and have impressed many a dinner guest with it since then. It has just as nice a presentation as it does flavor. I've even added sauteed baby portabellas on occasion which also goes well with this flavor combination. Thanks again!

I had never made orzo before, and this turned out perfect! I was concerned that it would taste very buttery, but the flavor and liquid ratio was perfect! This is a wonderful compliment to any main dish!
