First time making French Toast and it was yummy! I used cinnamon raisin bread instead of King's Hawaiian. My only problem with this recipe is that they don't tell you what level of heat to fry the bread over. I started at medium heat and burned a few pieces before turning the burner down, but our stove runs a little hot.

Couldn't be easier or tastier. I used Challah bread sliced about 1' thick, and I did soak a little bit (couldn't help myself0. We loved it!!

Perfect balance of ingredients. I love French Toast and wanted an authentic recipe. I just used fresh bread from the bakery cut thickly and it was truly delicious with everyone wanting more.

This was really delicious - my BF usually doesn't like a sweet breakfast, but served with some thick sliced bacon and scrambled eggs, he was in heaven! Loved this recipe and look forward to having it again.

I couldn't find King's brand bread at our grocery store so I used the Orowheat version. It was still fantastic, but I think it would have been better if we used the King's brand.

I made this for my husband on his birthday and he loved it! He is a purist, he likes his French Toast without all the fuss and frills of some of these other recipes. I wasn't sure how he'd like this sweet bread, but he said its his new favorite! I made the recipe exactly as it states.

Loved it! I wanted to make my kids french toast and was all out of bread except a 4 Hawaiian mini rolls. So I decided to try it with them. My kids and I loved it so much we will never use plain bread again!
