"Make tonight Taco Night! Our original taco recipe is easy to prepare and fun for the whole family. Set out a variety of toppings in small bowls, and let the creations begin. In addition to the topping suggestions listed in the recipe, you can also serve guacamole, sour cream, ripe black olives, chopped onion, sliced radishes and chopped bell pepper. On Taco Night, the only limit is your imagination."

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package ORTEGA® Taco Seasoning mix
  • 1 package (12) ORTEGA® Taco Shells, warmed
  • Toppings: shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, SARGENTO® ChefStyle Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese, ORTEGA® Thick & Smooth Taco Sauce

Directions

  1. BROWN beef; drain. Stir in water and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 6 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
  2. FILL taco shells with beef mixture. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and taco sauce.
