INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
18 thin slices white bread

DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, combine butter, sugar and orange peel; mix well. Spread on both sides of bread; cut in half diagonally. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. Turn slices over; bake 7 minutes longer (watch carefully).

I really like this. Not too orangey, not too sweet, and crispy! Perfect. I did take it out prior to 7 minutes, and I toasted it in my toaster oven on 350. If you don't like very crispy toast, I'd recommend flipping earlier and lessening the total time, but I really liked it this way. Thanks for the recipe!

I have hunted through the entire??? Internet looking for this recipe that my Sister shared with me several years ago! I loved it then and it's perfect now for a special Ladie's Tea event! My family loves them and so will yours! PS They couldn't be easier or faster to prepare!
