I made this recipe for Thanksgiving this year. My family is not a sweet potato family, and I even had to talk my dad into trying them. Everyone LOVED them though, and everyone had seconds if not THIRDS! I liked them because they weren't just sweet. They had a little extra zing from the orange juice which really brightened up our holiday table. They smelled WONDERFUL and tasted even better!

These were pretty good and they sure had great flavor, I just found them a bit mushy. I also didn't like the way the nuts tasted - I think if I'd use them again, I'd sprinkle them straight on top, not mix them in the sauce.

I made this recipe for my Christmas dinner last year. I'm always looking for unique dishes to "wow!" everyone and this just didn't quite do that. It was good, but not great. My Mother-In-Law said she really liked it, but I don't know if she was just being nice?!

These are WONDERFUL! I had to make them without any nuts (none on hand) and use canned sweet potatoes and they were so great! I can't wait to make them with fresh potatoes! I used fresh-squeezed orange juice which I think made them even better!

I love sweet potatoes. It's nice to vary the recipies from time to time. I used fresh oranges to squeeze the juice. The sauce smells great while it's cooking.

These ROCKED. The flavor was just right, not too sweet and just the right texture. Everyone went back for thirds ~ this is a keeper!

Great recipe for the 'not too sweet' sweet potato.

This was great! Many of the sweet potato casseroles I've tried were like eating dessert. This had just the right amount of sweetness and the orange added a nice twist to it. I could taste the subtle orange flavor even though I didn't have any orange peel. I loved it and so did everyone else that tried it. This will be the recipe I will use over and over again. Thanks for sharing.

Only gave it 4 stars because we all thought it was very sweet but rather bland. Next time I would cut back on the honey or br. sugar and add more cinnamon. Couldn't really taste any orange flavor either which I was looking forward to. Good but not great.
