There were FANTASTIC! My only modifications were to add orange zest to the batter for additional flavor. I also cut the sugar back to 1 3/4 c. which was just right for sweetness. I may try 1 1/2 c. sugar next time. For presentation, I made an orange zest, milk, powdered sugar glaze. I dipped the tops in. There were still very good without the glaze. A nice addition to this was the Maple butter recipe from this site that I also served. Will definately make again.
