Best baked apples ever, I did use lemon honey mixture for the orange marmalade and sprinkled it with brown sugar. Will definitely make again.

Delicious and very easy to make! I like that there is no butter or added sugar in this recipe. Great to make on a cool fall night.

I enjoyed these although my husband wouldn't touch them. The flavor kind of reminded me of my grandmother's mince meat - without the meat, of course.

YUM! We made this with chunky marmalade. The sweetness of the apple is so good with the tartness of the orange peel chunks. I put orange juice in the pan instead of water. Good with a strong cup of black tea!

Very good! Makes for a very nice presenation as well. I don't have nor do I like marmalade, so I decided to sub honey, lemon juice, and lemon rind for the marmalade. I mixed it together, then tasted it. It didn't end up the consistency of marmalade, as it was more liquid, but it worked well. Next time I'll try with orange juice and orange rind. I only wanted to make 2 apples, but I ended up with enough of my "marmalade" for about 3. I cored the two apples, but on the third I halved it then cored the middles. I like following the recipe better by coring the apple; the flavor gets through the entire apple that way. I like the cinnamon and nutmeg but next time I'll try pumpkin pie spice. Thanks for the recipe!
