No flavor, bad texture. They were dense, really dissapointed. No sweetness what so ever.

I used whole wheat white flour and fat free plain yogurt in place of the sour cream only because I used the last of my sour cream last night. These turned out kind of flat and really are just.....not flavorful enough. The muffins are plenty moist, but there's just no umph. You would think they would be with the orange juice and orange peel. I might try this again in a couple days and maybe use orange juice concentrate, add more orange zest to the actual muffin and do a crumb topping with orange zest in the topping?

These have a wonderful texture to them but are a little bland. They would benefit enormously from some extra orange zest and dried cranberries or chocolate chips. I expected them to rise a lot higher from the amount of bakin powder in them and was a little disappointed. The only change I made was to sub plain yogurt for the sour cream.

I thought these were bland and heavy and tasted doughy. I don't think I'll be making these again.

Orange flavor was there, but the aftertaste was not good.

This recipe would be good on it's own, and is much better the next day once the orange flavor has a chance to go through the muffin. I made these changes (and would have rated it 5-star) - added 3/4 cup chopped dried cranberries - drizzled the muffins with a glaze while they were still warm Glaze: 1/2C Icing sugar 1/2 tsp Orange zest 4 tsp Orange juice. Then they were fantastic!

These muffins smelled incredible when they were baking but I found the taste to be quite bland. I took the advice of one of the other reviewers and used orange icing drizzle on top, which helped the taste a bit, but I still doubt I would make these again.

These were good and very moist, but I felt they were missing something. They were more cakey than muffin like in texture. I may try adding white chips and a glaze and making cupcakes out of them if I try them again.
