VERY YUMMY! This is a nice change from ordinary jello. The taste is like orange flavored applesauce loaded with mandarin oranges. I will make this again. It is a good healthy dessert. Thank you Mrs. John Eaton for sharing.

This wasn't the greatest orange gelatin recipe I've ever had. The mandarin oranges all remained in the top portion of the dish and the bottom portion was the gelatin-applesauce mixture, which was a little odd without any fruit to break it up (kind of grainy from the applesauce). I'd say that you'd probably want to double the amount of mandarin oranges in each cup. I'd then suggest placing half of the gelatin in each cup followed by half of the oranges. Then the rest of the gelatin and the rest of the oranges.
