DIRECTIONS
On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece of dough into an 8-in. rope. Flatten to 1-1/2-in. wide strip. Combine the butter, sugar, orange juice and peel; spread over dough. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a short side. Pinch ends to seal. Place in a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Cover and let stand in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.

This is one of my favorite recipes now! I substituted 1-1 lb. loaf of frozen-thawed bread dough instead of the 6 rolls, kept the rest of the recipe exactly the same and these turned out really good! They rose really high and were excellent in flavor! This is a super-easy very solid recipe...give it a try you won't be dissapointed!

This recipe is soooo much easier to use a frozen bread dough loaf thawed and rolled out flat. Spread the orange cinnimon and sugar mixture over it. Then roll jelly role style. Slice and put in a round cake pan sides touching and bake.

Here's what I did so I didn't have to roll each roll out, and it turned out great. I used 8 Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold 1/4 cup orange juice concentrate, thawed 1 tablespoon sugar 3 tablespoons brown sugar pinch cinnamon orange zest, if desired Glaze: 1 tablespoon orange juice concentrate, thawed 3 tablespoons powdered sugar Combine orange juice concentrate and sugar in a small bowl. Dip each roll in orange juice mixture until well coated. Place coated rolls in a sprayed 9-inch round cake pan or deep dish pie pan. Combine brown sugar, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over rolls. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 15-20 minutes. Remove from pan onto cooling rack. Combine glaze ingredients and brush over warm rolls. Garnish with orange zest if desired

Just finished making and eating these. I doubled the batch for 12 rolls, which filled a 9x13" pan. These were delicious; my husband and I both enjoyed them. I may make them again. The time consuming part was rolling out each of the rolls into strips, and then letting them rise, which took well over an hour.

Great recipe. Thawed 36 rolls, made six times the butter, sugar, orange spread and they turned out wonderful. I did put them in muffin tins that were sprayed with pam. My husband made the ropes, I spread them out and put on the orange spread, he rolled them up and put them in the pan. It went very fast. We made three dozen as we had a alot of family coming. Out of the oven, I loosened them from the pan, and spread them with the frosting (which I had added a tablespoon of melted butter to). Received rave reviews from everyone. This is a keeper and will make often. Very easy and delicious.

I really like these, but I didn't really follow the recipe. I don't have frozen bread rolls or dough--I generally make all my own dough, so I found another recipe and made dough from that recipe (Grandma's Orange Rolls), plus I added orange juice to the dough. I just rolled it into a rectangle then followed the directions from there. I really like these rolls. Easy and delicious. It did take me another 15 min to bake, but it could be my oven or simply the dough I used. Either way, still delicious. Thanks!

Pretty good. I used 2-1lb loaves(doubled other else also) and rolled and filled just like cinnamon rolls. Instead of the glaze I made a frosting with a stick of butter, some orange juice and powdered sugar. They were very light, a differnt kind of texture. Everyone at my husbands work loved them though.

These were tasty. I used a 1 lb. loaf of dough and rolled it up jelly roll style. Sliced into rolls about an inch wide, so recipe yielded about 15 rolls instead of just six. Will definitely make again!
