Love these! Pretty much followed the recipe exactly, but used just the red pepper since I didn't have a green pepper. These are great because everybody can put their own toppings on the turkey, bean filling, which is very flavorful. Even though cheese is not listed on the ingredients, we did sprinkle ours with some cheddar cheese.

I'll be making this again for sure! I only needed 1 red and 1 green pepper though. Mix and match toppings as you want or try in rolled burrito size tortilla.

My husband who is extremely reluctant to try new things (he's a beef person) loved these tacos...I did revise the recipe a bit...added fresh cilantro and used green onion and made it a little "unhealthy" by adding actual taco seasoning...but it was delicious. I also used black beans instead of refried beans and added cilantro salt and pepper and olive oil to those before mashing them up and placing them on the bottom of the taco. I also toasted the flour tortilla in olive oil which made a HUGE difference in flavor. Overall a really good recipe thanks for the guidance. My husband was extremely impressed and so was my 3 year old daughter!

This was really good! I like stuff spicy, though, so I added a bunch of extra stuff-- onions, a lil chili powder, etc. I also added a lil shredded cheese to the turkey while it was still hot to make it melt a bit-- tasted really yummy! It was great on a taco, too! :D

This was my first attempt to make something on my own following a recipe and I have to say it was extremely easy to put together. I took the advice of one of the other reviews which said to add some of the veggies into the mixture in the pan and it was delicious, while still remaining healthy. I actually used a little mixed "mexican" cheese on top of my tacos which gave it a little additional flavoring.

As a healthy eating recipe, this is five stars. If I was eating with little concern about calories or fat, I may not prepare it. But as a healthy recipe is top notch. As a regular recipe, still better than average. I didn't have any red peppers, so used the green peppers that I had on hand. I used whole wheat tortillas for an even healthier take on the recipe. This is a perfect recipe for spicing up your healthy eating plan with the healthy version of an old favorite.

These were pretty good, but needed some extra flavoring. I used cumin, chili powder and sauteed garlic and onions before adding the turkey.

Recipie was O.K.. You really need to like refried beans to enjoy it. Perhalphs a 1/4 cup of turkey mix would be plenty, so that the texture is not so overwhelming. Is flavourful...add chili powder for more spice.:)

I love this version of the taco! I had never used ground turkey for tacos before and was leary. It proved to be great. So lean and my kids didn't even notice the difference. The only thing I did different was added the peppers to the meat and onions fromt he start instead of using them as a topper. My kids would have never eaten them sitting up on top, but if you saute them up with the meat they are much easier to hide!!!! I served them up on hard taco shells along with the flour and everyone was happy. This is my new favorite taco recipe......can't wait for the leftovers tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
