We thought this was ok. It kind of tasted like licorice. I probably would not make it again because it wasn't worth the effort for us.

Interesting flavor. I had problems with getting the onion topping to brown while on broil, so that may be why I wasn't as impressed with this. It might make a good appetizer topping for bread or crackers, but I don't think the flavor is strong enough to serve this as a main dish.

One evening I was home with my Great grandmother and I needed to fix shrimp because it was a friday and I needed something quick because my parents were on their way back from work. I found some shrimp in the freezer so in a frenzy I searched for a "decent" recipe on this website. I found many good recipes but this one really stuck out. I did strkay from the recipe though. I did not chill the sauted onions, and I used dry tarragon because there was not enough in the garden. I ended up cutting the tarragon in half and sauteing the shrimp. I paired it with some steemed green beans and it turned out wonerful. Everyone loved it and I will definitely have to make it again. It is absolutely delicious and a perfect combination of some delicious flavors!

I hadn't cooked with Tarragon before; I love the combination of it with the garlic and lemon.

I made this dish for dinner last night and the wife absolutly loved it. Took quite awhile to prepare as I never cooked shrimp before and the entire devein and peeling process took me a long time to do. The smell of the fresh tarragon is wonderful and enjoyable. I will cook this again!
