I cut these potatoes smaller than 1/2 inch and it took well over an hour to cook them through. I also thought this needed more spices.

These are so delicious! I used idaho russets though instead of red potatoes, and EVOO. So easy. A family favorite!

This was really good. I made it as directed except for using russet potatoes. I like simple recipes like this one. For a no fuss side dish this one is a winner :)

I needed an easy potato dish like this but didn't have any onion soup mix so I used some sliced onion (about half a medium one) and Lawry's seasoned salt. Love it!

Used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. This was good. but not my favorite way to make potatoes. Don't think I will try it again.

I've been making these for years, I bake uncovered and stir twice while cooking. They're also excellent wrapped in foil and cooked on the BBQ. My kids love the "little crunchy things" so much, I often dice an onion and add in order to have more "crunchy things"-- Don't tell them it's onions!

I made this with a packet of Ranch soup mix instead of onion soup and we loved them. I broiled them at the end for about 10 min. to get them to brown and threw a little shredded parmeson on top too.
