The first problem that I had with this was the statement that it only costs 72 cents per serving. For five servings, that means the entire dish should only cost $3.60. A half pound of ground beef and the green pepper alone easily cost that much. Maybe you shave a couple cents off if you use the super fatty ground beef, but I couldn't make this for under four dollars, and I'm not counting the spices, beef bouillon, or Worcestershire sauce, which I have on hand. It wasn't an expensive dish, but I think the actual cost may be underestimated. Secondly, we didn't care for the taste. We ate it, but I doubt it will have a repeat performance on our dinner table. My rating is based on the taste and flavor of the dish alone, not my cost discrepancies.

I didn't really feel like cooking tonight, so I decided to try this. It was a great, easy meal. We had it with steamed vegetables on the side. I didn't have Worcestershire sauce, beef bullion or egg noodles, so I substituted soy sauce, chicken broth, and spinach and tomato noodles. It turned out really well, and it was super easy!

Very nice take on the skillet noodle dinner theme. Yummy and the ease of it earns it the 5th star. Easy to scale up too as I have loads of teenage boys coming over for their "foody call" every evening. My only difference form the recipe was to skip the boullion cube and water and use canned beef broth instead.

My family really enjoyed this recipe. I had no expectations for it and was very pleasantly surprised. It is easy, economical, and good. I will be making it again.
