After I baked my brownies, I went back to my copy of the recipe and looked on this website to make sure I had copied it right. I did....there was too much butter and these brownies were the WORST ones I have ever made! My chocoholic husband wouldn't even eat them...They crumbled and were just ugly to even look at!

Perfection in all it's chocolatey goodness. I used pecans instead of walnuts and splashed in a bit more vanilla than called for (always do that!). *YUM* Thank you :)

This was super fast and easy to toss together and they turned out great! I used semi-sweet squares, so reduced the sugar to 1 and 1/2 cups, which turned out just great - not too sweet. Based on another reviewer, added a pinch of salt. Also used margarine instead of real butter. Unlike others who have complained about them being tough to get out of the pan -- mine were just fine - no crumbling or stickiness. Used vegetable spray to coat the pan prior to putting the batter in. Ran a knife around the edges when they came out, then let cool about 20 minutes in the pan on a rack before slicing. They came away perfectly. We didn't add the nuts but those would have been great too. The kids loved these!

very good! Only had 3 squares chocolate so I used some choc chips too. I used my silicone baking pan and fliped the whole thing right out and cut them up didn't stick at all!

Well, i don't think I'll be buying boxed mixes anymore...this recipe is so simple, & so quick-I wanted brownies for the Superbowl & didn't have a mix on hand- this definately did the trick! I absolutely LOVE brownies, and these did not disappoint! Definately put foil in the pan & spray w/ Pam-that way they don't stick. If you're looking for a rich, fudgy brownie, this is it!

Used the cocoa/oil combo instead of the melted chocolate. Added some chocolate and peanut butter chips. Next time I'll just ust peanut butter chips or even some butterscotch chips. Great basic recipe. YUM!

these are the best brownies i have ever had, not to mention the easiet recipe, it only took me 10 mins to make the batter then pour in the pan and bake. I would recommend added abour 5 mins on to the baking time and cool thoroughly before cutting :)

This is my first time to ever make home made browines and so I tried this because I had everything it took and they are really easy to make and very good. The only thing I think I will try different next time is cut back on the sugar a little bit. It was a touch to sweet for me but that is just a personal preference.

Most amazing brownies. I used Godiva dark chocolate finely choped and pecans rather than walnuts. Topped with a milk chocolate frosting made with Hershey bars and heavy cream. Outrageously good.

Good easy brownie. Nice and moist. Rose up like a cake, but turned out fudgy. I used self rising flour because I thought I was out of AP and didn't want to use whole wheat or bread flour for this. I found a bag of AP after I had it mixed up. This made a big pan. Overall very good, but seemed like something was missing in the flavor? Maybe that's just me as no one else here said anything. Thanks, they're good.
