Very easy to make, very yummy. Used pam spray and parchment paper at bottom of pan, and had no problem turning the brownies out.

Easy & Very Yummy. I used the cake like brownie suggestion with the added 1/2 c flour, and 1/2 c milk, 1/2 cup less sugar & 2 t. vanilla instead of 1 t. Baked in a greased & flour glass pan for 30 min. Perfect. Frosted with choc frosting. Thanks to all of you for your reviews and suggestions. This is a keeper!

EASY AND DELICIOUS! I used 12 tbsp cocoa powder as recommended and only baked them for 30 min in a glass pan, they are just perfect.

I really love these brownies, sometimes add an extra egg to make them fluffier, I'm curious as to whether cake flour would make them cake-ier.

I had a craving for some brownies, but these didn't hit the spot. They are indeed quite sticky, but besides that to me there was way too much sugar. It overpowered the chocolate in my opinion. Only thing I changed was substituting choc chips for nuts.

These are the best brownies I have ever made! They are moist and chewy, and have that perfect crust on the top that makes a brownie, a brownie! Like a previous poster, I too used cocoa powder and canola oil instead of unsweetened chocolate squares. They are perfect! Thank you so much!

These were all right- not overly impressive. They were easy, I'll give them that much. I topped mine with peanut butter frosting and Reese's PB cups, and it made them much better.

Followed the recipe exactly. They came out a little too "fudgy" but I was using them for brownie ice cream sundaes. They are perfect for that. :)

very much like fudge 12tbs cocoa/3tbs butter - instead of squares heat all sugar butter and cocoa for a short time to aid sugar dissolving

In theory, it's a good recipe, but when I made it, I don't think it turned out like it was supposed to. I think it was my fault though, because for the chocolate, I used a large, about 4 oz. hershey's chocolate bar. I also used a person's sugg. for a more cake-like brownie. I think next time, I will follow the recipe to a T, and see how it turns out. Mine came out barely edible. they were perfectly cooked, but they were a strange light brown tan color instead of dark brown, and they were dry, and the flavor wasn't very good at all. I think this has more to do with my prep than the recipe being bad. I'll just have to try again. :)

Fantastic recipe! I made these to the recipe. They freeze well when individually wrapped and stored in a freezer bag; that way they don't sit on the kitchen counter staring at you! :)

These brownies where good, nice basic recipe for when I am running low on ingredients and craving! I also subsituted the cocoa powder for chocolate squares (what a money saver! I wish I would have know about this before) My oven runs hot and I only cooked them for 30 minutes and it was still too long. Maybe next time just cook for 27 minutes and see how that is.

These have become a standard in our house. The ingredients are easy and always delicious. If you don't have unsweetned chocolate squares, I substitute 3 TBS unsweetened cocoa + 1 TBS oil/shortening for each 1 oz square required in the recipe. Delicious!!

Not quite the best. They were sweet but lacked enough chocolate flavor. I made another batch with one more chocolate square and they were much better, better than from a box. They were a bit difficult to handle without falling apart. I recommend serving them directly from a nice baking dish.

These are the prefect brownies, to avoid sticking I just use a cilacone pan that way it is very easy to get them out. They make a great bottom to a cheesecake!
