Quick, easy, and delicious! I reduced the sugar to 1 1/2 cups and it was very sweet.

These brownies were awesome!!! Since I didn't have baker's squares, I used semi-sweet chocolate morsels (about 1 1/2 cups) and reduced the sugar to 1 cup. I had to bake them about 40 minutes. Hubby said they were the best he's ever had! I also added crumbled up peanut butter cups. Yum!

It was a little too sugary for myself. However, this was a great recipe to make with my daughter. Very friendly for young kids wanting to learn how to cook.

I love this recipe. It was easy to make and didn't require anything I didn't have. And since I made it in the middle of the night, I didn't use a blender and it still mixed real well. I used semi-sweet baking chocolate instead and then added an extra one that i had to the top. I choppeditup and sprinkledit on. I also used 3 tbsp of cocoa. You may have guessed, but I am a chocoholic.

So good! I only used 2 eggs as that's all I had, and they turned out so yummy! Better than store bought!

Like everyone else says, this brownie is chewy and fudgy, just how I like them! They are absolutely delicious. I'll make them with more chocolate next time so I don't have to eat three to get a fix. :) Yes, they do stick to the pan if you don't grease it well enough. My suggestion for those who don't want to injure themselves while trying to scrape the squares out is to bake them in silicone cupcake cupcake liners.

Very good and easy to make. My 7 yr. old daughter made these with only a little help from me. I also made a batch and topped it with chopped peanuts, mini marshmallows, coconut and chocolate chips, after I followed the recipe. Then I put the cooked brownies with the toppings under the broiler for a few minutes - voila! Rocky Road Brownies. Delicious!

Excellent fudgy brownies. We loved them. I will alternate between these and some other cake-like brownie recipe but won't go back to boxed brownies ever again! Thanks for another great recipe.

these are super easy and quick to make, and they are good. but i probably wont make them again, i actually like a few of the box brownie brands better. these would be better with added chocolate chips into the mix. they seem to be missing something.

I substituted 3 tablespoons of cocoa (even added a little extra) and extra butter for the chocolate as per the Hershey's box, but they were not chocolately at all. The consistency was fine, but you could practically not even taste the chocolate. I ended up spreading peanut butter over them calling them Peanut Butter blondies, which were good enough that it wasn't a loss. They were quite sugary, esp. without a strong chocolate flavor. I'd make these again per their reputation, but would cut the sugar a bit, add little salt (I used unsalted butter), and definitely use real chocolate.

I've used this recipe several times and it is very good. I only use three chocolate squares and it still has very good flavor. I'm suprised to read other reviews saying that their brownies do not have much flavor even after using four chocolate squares.

These are the best...No more box mix for me. I only had two squares of chocolate so I substituted 1/2 cup for two of the squares and they were GREAT!

These were ok. I added a tsp of salt and perhaps that was too much. I think these would be much better made in a 9x9 pan... they were pretty thin and got crist as they cooled. Perhaps with a little tweaking, these would be great.
