Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf unsliced French bread

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients.
  2. Slice bread in half widthwise and lengthwise; place on a baking sheet. Spread cheese mixture over cut sides of bread.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
