Yummy! I followed the recipe as is, except I added about 1/2 Tablespoon of sugar and used about 1/2 cup of mayo. ( I also used small red and white potatoes and didn't peel them.) This is an old fashioned Potato Salad for sure. Thanks for the recipe.

I've seen my mother make it but I could never do it. So I found this recipe and added my own flavor to it and it turned out great. We like ours a litte sweet and I used red potatos with the skin still on it. My family loved it.

I made this for a BBQ and I was not impressed. It was way to dry so I added more mayo and very bland so I added a little vinegar which helped a little bit. Needless to say all the food I made was gone except for the potato salad. I will continue my search for the perfect potato salad.

This was my first attempt at Potato salad and I got great compliments from the family!! I did change a few things, I skipped the celery and celery salt, used 3/4 cup relish, 1 cup mayo because its seemed dry to me, used regular salt instead of garlic salt too. I will use this again...thanks!

This was very good! I made a few changes. Used red potatoes (left the skin on) Omited the relish & added 1 tsp red wine vinegar,a sprinkle of chives, & a dash of cayenne. Will definitely make this again!

I wish I could have given this 10 stars! This is the best potato salad I've ever eaten & was the hit of the cookout. I'll never use another recipe because this one was perfect. I used pickle relish as suggested however it would have been good without it if you don't already have it on hand (I didn't).

This was the 1st potato salad I had made-please bear in mind I may have made it wrong. But I found the mustad gave the salad a off putting color and the pickle relish made it to soupy. I even added more mayo trying to get the consistency right.Was edible but will not attempt to make again

This is a good version of classic potato salad. I made a couple of changes; I added 1 TBS. of red wine vinegar, more mayo (to taste), 1/4 tsp black pepper, and substituted dijon for regular mustard. I will make this again!

This IS definitely old fashioned and usually the way I make mine. Didn't have the celery salt but I normally put dill weed in mine anyhow. Yummy.

Is really really good. The first time i have ever made this sala, an it turned out great. I added a bit more onion, and less mayo for the hubbies taste.. And celery salt is a must. I bought it just for this recipe.. ANd i am glad i did

This was the first time I made Potato Salad (although, I have eaten my fair share!) I thought this was a great, easy recipe to follow. If you have a preference of relish, sweet vs. dill, adjust the recipe accordingly.
