So crunchy and yummy! We didn't have any bread crumbs, so we pulverized pretzels in the blender and sifted to remove coarse and large pieces. The "pretzel powder" stuck to the onion rings well and fried up super crunchy and delicious. We also decreased the salt in the recipe by half, since we used salted pretzels. Love the results!

Fantastic. Try BUTTERMILK instead of milk. Also baked them in the oven at 350 for 10 min, turned them and kept them in for another 10min. The Blooming Onion Dipping Sauce from this site is a killer side.

I have made this recipe a bunch of times now, and it always gets rave reviews. I have been asked for the recipe several times too. I follow the recipe exactly, but instead of frying them, I just stick them on a pan, drizzle with some oil and bake them in my oven... soooo delicious!

These were great. There the way I like them if I get them out. I used all the ingredients, followed the steps of dipping, but I didn't measure. Just put the ingredients in three different pie plates. Then seasoned them. Will be making again.

I don't usually eat onion rings. But I was craving them so I came upon this recipe and I made it. IT WAS AMAZING! It was soooo good. I couldn't stop. I soaked the onions in ice water to get rid of the strong oniony taste. I used Itailian style bread crumbs. They were amazing i'm definately trying this recipe again <3

These are delicious and so fun to make! I like messy cooking once in a while. I worked at the fast food restaurant that makes these for 5 years, and this recipe is a perfect copy. Love them with a little extra seasoning salt. Mmmmmm!

These onion rings tasted great, but were very time consuming. The three-step proccess combined with the quick frying made it impossible for me to keep up. Even though I loved the end result, I will keep searching for an easier recipe.

OHMIGOSH ... these are delicious. They stay crunchy (not greasy) even after they cool off. The only thing I changed was, I added some Cajun seasoning to the bread crumbs, because I'm from Louisiana, and that's what we do ! Try these, you will love them !

What a wonderful recipe. I added Goya Adobo seasoning to the bread crumb mixture instead of seasoned salt and it gave a great flavor.
