These had an odd salty taste due to the self-rising flour. I made a batch for several kids at my church and most of them did not get eaten.

I would never make this again. The dough was so sticky I had to refrigerate it because the top of the dough would slough off. After I did that I had to be very careful because the cutout would loose its shape on the way to the cookie sheet. And they have zero flavor. I would be ashamed to serve these.

Not a bad cookie I got lots of compiments from friends and co-workers on these. Make sure that when you roll out the dough that you dont go to thin, as they will not be as soft. They are good I would use this recipe again.
