This is a keeper! Even my skeptical hubby liked it. I did change it up a bit to use up what I had on hand. I only had 2 spicy chicken sausage links, so I supplemented with some diced ham. I substituted rutabaga for potatoes because we're low-carbing. Besides the kale, I also added some shredded cabbage, diced carrots, and Italian seasoning. I threw everything in the slow-cooker for about 5 hrs (high). Delicious!
