This is sooo good, and so much more refreshing than plain oatmeal! I make sure to use all natural apple juice (to avoid any unnaturally added sugars), and I used 2 apples, omitting the raisins. I think I will also add walnuts next time, as another reviewer suggested. Delish!

Good oatmeal that everyone enjoyed at breakfast this morning. The apple chunks were nice but the raisins seemed unnecessary to me. It is just a tiny bit too sweet though, in my opinion, and I may consider replacing 1/2c. or so of juice with water next time.

I thought this was a great recipe for oatmeal. Cooking the oats in apple juice gave it a lot of flavor. The cinnamon, honey and vanilla gave it a nice bit of sweetness, too (but not too much in my mind). This will be my oatmeal recipe from now on!

Very good. But the apple juice was WAY TOO MUCH! The consistency was great but the flavor was bad! Next time I will do what the others suggest and reduce the apple juice alot! or just not use it and use milk or water instead.

This is absolutely delicious! It seems to taste better every time I make some, and everyone who has tried it loves it and asks for the recipe! A wonderful way to start the day!

My husband has high cholesterol and has decided to eat oatmeal. He really loves this recipe. It actually makes about 4 servings for us. I leave out the raisins, because my husband doesn't like them, but I left everything else the same. Yum!

I altered this recipe a little, but the result was delicious overall! Kind of reminds me of oatmeal raisin cookies with apples!

I used all ingredients except the apple juice (i used water instead) in order to reduduce the amount of sugar and calories and it still tasted delicious. Thank you for this great recipe.

We loved this! It was my first time making oatmeal and we really liked it. I reduced the juice by 1/3 cup and used 1 1/2 cups oatmeal to make it a little less runny. We topped it with brown sugar when it was ready to serve.

I followed this recipe exactly and thought it was a great way to start the morning. I used a granny smith apple. I found it plenty sweet and may even try diluting some of the apple juice with water.

Wow! I was looking for something to feed my picky toddler for breakfast and this is a winner. I made a some for him and it was so good I made more for my husband and I to enjoy! I didn't have any apple juice so I used full fat milk. Still amazing. I'm guessing it would be 10* if you used apple juice.

Woke up to a chilly 46 degrees and I had oatmeal on my mind. Do to allergies, I had to replace the apple with a chunky homemade applesauce. So good and thank you Amie!

I made this recipe on a very cold February morning and it hit the spot! We aren't crazy about raisins so I replaced them with chopped walnuts. Awesome!
