I'm not a huge oatmeal raisin cookie fan, but everyone else seemed to like these just fine. The cookies had a nice texture to them.

This recipe is the best I have ever made. The cookies came out soft and chewy. Usually my oatmeal cookies come out hard. Everyone LOVE them. I made another batch with cranberries, macadamion nuts, and white chocolate. Those were a big hit. Delicious!

These cookies are awesome! The only thing that I did different was to add more oats, so they would come out fluffier. They were perfect!!

I followed the recipe to the T and got a total of 50 cookies...they were gone in 25 mins and EVERYONE wanted to recipe. I took them out of the oven 2 minutes earlier and they were really chewy, even after cooling down...DELICIOUS! Thank you for the recipe!

man did these go fast at work! i didnt use any nuts, as i think nuts are useless, but i did make a batch with chocoloate chips. the ones with the choc chips were eaten first, but once people started eating the ones without the chocolate they decided they liked them even more! i agree...yum, thanks for the recipe

These cookies were very average-tasting...I did however, toast the walnuts (substituted for pecans) and used raw sugar only. Maybe that made a difference, maybe I have high expectations...

Everyone loved these cookies, they were a bit hit at the office. Althought I may use a half cup of white sugar next time, just to cut down on the sweetness. Make sure you have lots of milk in the fridge before baking these cookies!

I took some of the advise by adding baking powder and less white surgar and more brown surgar and one extra egg. They came out perfect! Thanks for the great recipe, it is a keeper!

Outstanding! Just made today, and I can't imagine what the "1 star" reviewer did, this was easy and worked perfectly. I needed to bake them for about 13 mins rather than 10, but otherwise no problems. Thanks, great recipe!

The best recipe for oatmeal cookies I have ever made. My daughter tried one and her reaction was great. She said it was the best cookie she ever tasted and she said they were the bomb. I used walnuts instead of pecans and added 1/2 of ground clove. Great recipe. I have made them twice in this past week. Thanks

I have been making this recipe for many years now. EVERYONE that I give these cookies to LOVE them. I told a co-worker about how much people raved about these cookies. This co-worker does not like oatmeal raisin cookies, however, she had to try them. Even she LOVED them. I never have any problems with these cookies; EVER!

Excellent, entire batch gone in one day! I've already given out this recipe 4 times! I made a few adjustments...half golden raisins, 1 cup walnuts, 1 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ground cloves. I also soaked the raisins in 2 eggs and added 1 egg to the batter for easier mixing. Soaking the raisins in the egg makes the difference, never skip this step!

The cookies were the "bomb"! Everyone raved about them. Instead of raisins, I used cherry flavored Craisins. They were soft and delicious, what more can I say?
