Delicious, chewy, awesome cookies. I added a pinch of ground cloves too... perfection!

First time making Oatmeal Raisin. Actually turned out great!!! I never even liked them until I made some using this recipe. Freezes well, just thaw for 2-3 hours before baking.

Wow, these were great! The dough was absolutely delicious (I can't help but sample the dough before baking...mmmm). I ended up burning the bottoms of the cookies since I put two baking sheets into the oven and I think this trapped the heat in the bottom half of the oven. But that was my fault! I froze some of the dough for another day. Yum!

These were Yummy! I did soak the raisins in boiling water for a few minutes. I also cut the white sugar to 1/2 cup and put 1/2 tsp of cinnamon instead of what the original recipe called for. I added chopped walnuts to half of the batch and those turned out great too! They were soft, moist in the inside but crispy on the outside. They were pretty to look out too! :) This recipe is a keeper!

As mentioned before, this recipe needs quite a bit of altering to make it yummy. Not enough flour and not nearly enough spices.

I just made these following the exact recipe nd thought they were pretty good, if they would have been chewier I would have given 5 stars! I would however warn about cooking more than 8 minutes, thats how long i cooked them and any longer than that they would have burned!

I liked these cookies a lot. I added 3/4 cup of diced walnuts to the recipe. I made larger cookies then the recipe called for so I cooked them 10 to 12 minutes. They turned out great.

I do not like this recipe. The cookies are flat and bland. It tastes like there is something missing, and they substituted it for sugar

While they're not as thick as some other oatmeal cookies, I think they're still really good. Everyone I've offered them to has asked for more so they can't be as bad as some of the previous reviews say. 2 thumbs up from me!

These tasted so good! Nice and light...did the 3 suggestions of adding 1/4cup more flour, the 1/2 tsp of baking powder, and soaking the raisins.

Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Delicious. I went to a 5-month culinary school training and the last month and a half was spent on baking. I got a Kitchen Aide for my graduation and use it sometimes. I cooked it a 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Check after 8 minutes. Should be medium to dark brown outside and medium brown inside. Check with toothpick. Perfect! Yum!

I love this recipe. This is my Husbands favorite cookie. He works away from home for weeks at a time so I always make sure there is a fresh batch waiting for him when he gets in. He thinks I did something really special. But it is so easy, and that is coming from someone who doesn't like to cook...
