This is a great, easy, unique recipe. I made these bars for a party and everyone enjoyed them. They are also really good with morning coffee.
I used 1 cup all-purpose flour and 3/4 cup whole wheat flour. Then I used about 3 cups of the crumble for the crust and put the remaining on top of the filling. There was plenty of topping.
These bars remind me of a fruit crisp and would be lovely with some vanilla ice cream.
