These are gourmet Nutter Butters. I was skeptical of the recipe but the cookies flatted out well. I overcooked the first pan but the filling ended up softening the cookie nicely by the 2nd day. I am glad I doubled the batch. 3 people have asked for the recipe for these. These were well worth all of the prep time.

These were lovely. I've made them several times now and they always turn out perfect. To the latest batter, I added chocolate chips, personally I love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate.

Good, but really sweet. I liked just the cookie part by itself. They were easy enough to make, but a little messy because they were really soft and kept breaking.

Amazing flavor and texture... I chose to not flatten the cookies and only backed for 9 minutes and had an instant hit at our household even without the cream filling. Thanks!

Very Good!! I didn't make mine into sandwiches...just put the frosting on the individual cookie. I also made my cookies small...which gave me about 36 little cookies. Definitely a keeper!!

The flavor was good, but they were very flat and I was even careful not to over mix. Maybe I will try once more.

I followed the recipe exactly. The cookies turned exactly as pictured. The are excellent and a big hit anywhere I take them. The only problem (too few cookies) is easily negated by doubling the recipe. Thanks for sharing the recipe Joanne.

Soooooo good! I have also made them without the cream and instead dipped one side in milk chocolate. Also very good!

I loved it! It's the best cookies I've ever made from stratch. I didn't do the filling, the cookies were good enough to stand on it's own. However, I did flatten the dough with a fork dunked in sugar. An improvised suggestion I took frm another cookie receipe. The dough doesn't stick to the fork and the end result suits me just fine; crispy, crunchy and delicious!

So yummy! Tons of compliments. I would advise making small cookies because they do spread out a lot during baking.

I made these exactly as the recipe calls for and they came out fantastically! Mine made 41 cookies (for 20 sandwiches) and there was plenty of filling for all of them (none left over, but they were all pretty full). I found that 8-9 minutes was about perfect; I left my first tray in for the full 10 and they came out a bit dark on the bottoms. These will definitely be our peanut butter cookie of choice!

These were good. I didn't make them with the filling though. Reduced the sugar like others had suggested too.

I followed this recipe exactly. Tasted GREAT. Some of mine were baked a couple minutes longer than others - family differed in which they liked better, crispy or soft. I used my regular cookie scoop, but dropped onto a plate & cut in half before rolling & putting on baking sheet. Nice size - more like the promised girl scout cookies. Um... I also had no cream on hand, so I used my hazelnut coffee creamer in the icing. I didn't taste 'the other nut', but it sure was good. Made more frosting than necessary as another reviewer stated. We still put a dent in the leftover icing by just snitching fingertipfulls.

Excellent! Soft and chewy too! I added a little bit of cocoa powder to the cookie filling to give it a chocolatey-peanut butter taste :)

WOW! Made as recipe stated. Easy and delicious! Only issue is that the cookies are a bit soft...maybe better than being crispy! I guess I put too much (not enough according to the kids) filling because I barely had enough to fill all the cookies. Will make these cookies again and again!

Outstanding! I could barely keep the cookies in the house - my whole family loved them. The filling is definitely enough for two batches of the cookies, which is good so I could make more and bad for my waistline. :) This is my new favorite cookie recipe!
