Very good cookies. I used butter-flavored shortening and I really think that helped to give the cookies some depth of flavor. With that one change these cookies are rich and chewy and they have that nice sturdy oatmeal cookie consistency that I like. I will definitely make these again!

Very good recipe. Made a few changes. I didn't have any eggs so I added a half a cup of water. Only added one cup of Oats and added 1 tbs of sliced Almonds. Very chocolaty so next time will only add 1 cup of chocolate chips

Not bad - a little too chewy for my liking. I added cinnamon/vanilla like other users suggested but they just didn't stay together that well.

I adjusted the recipe to what another reviewer suggested. Added 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 tsp cinnamon. This made for amazing cookies! I portioned mine with an icecream scoop and it took about 12 mins per batch. We will be making these for years to come!

Sooooo yummy! I made according to the recipe with the exception of 1tsp vanilla. next time will add more vanilla and pecans. these cookies have a crunchy outside and chewy middle. definitely recommend!

Love this recipe. I tried for the first time months ago. My wife loved it so much. She regularly askes me to make more. The only difference I made to it was. I put half of the Chocolate chips asked for in the recipe.
