I've made this several times and every time I change or add something. I've done it with pretzels, peanuts, popcorn, M&M's. It's always a big hit!

So delicious & addicting! Hard to stop eating it once you start. I needed a snack mix recipe for a family reunion that had no nuts in it. I found this & omitted the walnuts & it was a smash hit! Make sure to keep stirring the cereal mixture as it cools-mine turned into one huge blob. Also don't add the choc raisins too early-I thought it had cooled enough but they still melted. Even so-still will make it again & again!

Oh so good! It's got the perfect blend of crunchy, sweet, and chewy. I doubled the amount of cranberries and raisins. We love it! I only wish it made more.

I gave 4 stars because of the expense to servings ratio, It seems a small amount for the price of all the ingredients. The snack mix was okay, my sister loved it, I actually think that the cereal, walnuts, cranberries, choc cov raisins, etc are tasty alone and doesnt need gussied up. This is just my opinion. I enjoy trying new things, Thank you for sharing.

Another rave review!!! We made this to take in for my daughter's preschool snack. I omitted the walnuts because I wasn't sure if there were any nut allergies and I used yogurt covered raisins because we already had them. Turned out delicious! My husband has been talking about it all night! We take it to school tomorrow, and I am sure it will be a success!!

This reicpe is a WINNER! I used corn Chex because I didn't know what was meant by square oat cereal. I used almonds instead of walnuts because that is what I had. I think you could use any kind of nuts. I left out the chocolate raisins. It is super easy to make. I will use this recipe often. Thanks so much!

This is a great snack to share. A friend brought this to our soccer tournament in a huge bowl and every bit was gone in an instant. She would not share this delicious recipe so thank you for posting it so now I can make it. LOVE IT!!!

This stuff is addicting! I did not have chocolate-covered raisins, so I used regular golden raisins. I also used organic dried cranberries (which taste much better than Craisins but are expensive.) The second time I made a double batch and threw in about 1/4 cup or so of milled flax seed for sdded fiber and Omega-3 for my toddler. I can't wait to try it with choc.-cov. raisins! I will make this for a Super Bowl party!

My daughter made this for a 4-H project. We had to put the proper amount back before we ate it all. SOOOO good. I wouldn't call it not-so-sweet. It's pretty sweet to us but still oh so good.

This turned out VERY good. The entire family enjoyed it. The only thing I did different was to use a cinnamon flavored square oat cereal. I do also recommend letting it cool entirely before adding the chocoalte covered raisins, I added mine to soon and they melted, but still very good.
