I really quite enjoyed this recipe. I needed a recipe to use up some bran flakes, and really didn't want to have to make bunch more muffins, and this fit the bill. They came out big and chewy with a nice flavor. I left out the chopped walnuts as I have allergies though. Nothing else was changed. Thanks for the great recipe!

This recipe is awesome. I've made these cookies several times now and my friends and family can't get enough of them. This is definitely one of the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I've ever come across. Thank you for sharing!

These are really yummy, I did find them a little dry though and I didn't even cook them for the full amount of time.

I decided to call these Kitchen Sink cookies. I made some slight changes to the recipe. I added Butterscotch and white chocolate chips, as well as toasting the Walnuts. They were a little dry ( I live in the desert) So in the future I will substitute half the butter for shortning. I will also rummage through my pantry for anything else I can throw in.

Super yummy and moist. I made (almost) as directed, substituting only the milk chocolate chips for 1 C. of mini semi-sweet morsels. (I love the minis--more chocolate flavor with less chocolate!) Fun way to use all-bran, other than muffins and cereal.

**UPDATE - I just made these again with butter, following the directions exactly, and they are so amazing. These will forever be my go to cookies. Next time, I will try them with splenda and see if they are still as wonderful.....................Previously - Perfect texture and appearance, but a total lack of flavor. I used margarine, but I think real butter would have made a huge difference. (4 stars)

I followed the recipe exactly except I used Semi Sweet chip instead of Milk Chololate. My four kids and my husband loved these. I loved that they had oatmeal and bran flakes in them.
