Loved this frosting. Good on cakes, cupcakes, but especially pumpkin bread. Nice for those that love nuts on their sweets.

This recipe was super easy & super delicious. The amount of vanilla we were supposed to use is not mentioned anywhere but I never really measure vanilla anyway. I just do what "feels" right. I have a lot of leftover frosting because all I made was a round 8inch single layer cake so I plan on making some cupcakes tomorrow for the rest. Thanks for sharing this, it was exactly what I was looking for. Didn't have any pecans on hand so I just crushed what walnuts I had in the cabinet. I am sure it doesn't matter what you use. I am thinking chocolate chips would be neat for the cupcakes tomorrow.

This was very creamy! I halved the recipe and used it on pumpkin cake III. I only used 1/4 cup of minced walnuts (kids not a fan of nuts in their desserts) and a small amount of almond extract (didn't have vanilla).

Only one problem. Vanilla extract amount is left out. Researched another recipe and found 2tsp is normal. Might want to add that to the recipe
