It was great but needed more flavor. I might use this recipe again but maybe add more spices.

We loved this. We eat a lot of rice and were looking to add something new. My kids loved it. Will definitely be making again. Thanks so much for sharing. It turned out perfect.

I used this recipe to get an idea for how I could cook the real deal "wild rice" (not the boxed kind), and this recipe's measurements of 1 and 1/2 cups of wild rice with 4 cups of water is near perfect! I have been trying to figure out how to cook it "just right" for years, so thank you for sharing this recipe! I have not used this exact recipe yet, but plan on making it for Thanksgiving this year so I'll let you know how it goes.

What a wonderful, nutty side dish! I made the dish in advance, reconstituted dried cranberries and added them to the mixture. Also, I stirred in the bacon and the cashews instead of leaving them on top. It was my dad's favorite part of the meal!
