My friend referred me to this recipe and I'm so happy she did. It's FANTASTIC. My fiancee loves it every time I make it. I was even thinking of trying this as meatballs. I think they would be fantastic too! Definitely a keeper!!!

I just made it and its in the oven now :) Looks good. Not a big fan of meat loaf at all but I made it for my2 yr old son and family . I might just like it. I put half a bottle of a 20 oz ketchup. While it was cooking and I saw lots of grease coming to the top. So, I got a thick towel to take it out of the oven and poured out as much excess grease as I can by tilting the pan, All better :)

/I thought this recipe was very good and my husband loved it! I added some chopped green peppers and onions to the meat and also added some brown sugar to the ketchup. It was a very easy and tasty meatloaf. I will definitely be making this again!

Thanks for sharing this recipe! A great start to basic meat loaf without the fuss. No matter what you add to it, it turns out good. We make extra so we can have meatloaf sandwiches duing the week for lunch. I often use 1 lb each Ground beef, chicken, and breakfast sausage to 4 eggs and a chopped onion, a can of rotel tomatoes or salsa, some garlic and onion powder, italian seasoning or sage. Shape into six mini loaves on a baking sheet with a lip and bake 1 hour. The last 10 minutes brush with a little bbq sauce OR a mixture of Ketchup, mustard, and little brown sugar. Served with Rice or potatoes, or or even spaghetti.

Meatloaf was dry. I would suggest using ground beef that is not extremely lean. If you don't like the flavor of the stuffing, you will not like the flavor of the meatloaf.

This meatloaf recipe was finally a winner in my house! I used the Stove Top Herb flavored stuffing mix and it was a wonderful flavor. I didn't add onion as other reviews suggested because I am nursing and onion seems to bother baby, however, I think it would have been a nice compliment to add a little onion. I'm not a huge ketchup person so we used some Famous Dave's Devil's Spit BBQ sauce instead and it won over my picky husband!
