No-Fuss Meat Loaf
SUBMITTED BY:
Betty Braswell
"'Instant stuffing mix makes this nicely seasoned meat loaf simple enough for beginners to make,' says Betty Braswell of Elgin, Pennsylvania. 'I often combine the mixture in a resealable plastic bag instead of a bowl,' she suggests. 'Then I toss the bag for easy cleanup.'"

Let me start by saying that I HATE meat loaf. Or, I used to. I used Stove Top Savory Herb stuffing in this, and it was wonderful. So good, I will make meat loaf in the future and use this recipe. (I've never been able to say that before.) My husband loves meat loaf, so he's happy now, too. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

I am always looking for new recipes and this was a smash!! I used stove top savory herbs stuffing, added diced onion and bell peppers, and 2 heaping spoons of ketchup to the mix. I then added one more egg for the consistency. I used two smaller loaf pans to baked this and we have NO leftovers!!! Thanks for a great and easy meal!!

I made this for the 1st time with friends coming over, which always makes me nervous that it won't turn out. But this was great, everybody loved it. It was quick to make, I had everything mixed and ready to go before my oven was done preheating! I also put some slices of bread at the bottom to absorb the grease... worked great!

I really liked this recipe. I used Stove Top stuffing,as I always have that on the shelf. I added chopped onion to the beef/pork meatloaf mix I bought from the store. I also put 2 slices of bread down into the bottom of the loaf pan, then rested the meatloaf on top. This took care of the grease problem, I have always hated, making meatloaf. I will definitely make this one again. Thanks!

I made this for dinner last night for the family....I did add about 3 cloves of garlic, chopped and 1/4 of a large onion diced finely (so kids don't see it) to the rest of the ingredients....I put barbeque sauce on the top while it was in the oven...it turned out great...love the basic recipe though...good base.

Great simple recipe...I added some sauted in olive oil; onion, garlic, celery, grated carrot and red pepper. Then add approx. 1/2 c. ketchup to the mix. Form as loaf on cookie sheet, smoother in ketchup so you get more crust! My family loved it!

I used my slow cooker to make this and it was very good. I think I would add a few more spices and maybe some onion next time.

This is a great meatloaf recipe! My husband couldn't stop raving. I like a moist meatloaf, so I squirted ketchup, mustard and barbeque sauce straight into the mixture. Turned out great!
