No Bake Peanut Butter Pie Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 6)

This recipe was far too soupy for me. When the pie is frozen, it ends up being alright (except hard as a brick and impossible to cut) but I would definitely recommend reducing the amount of milk in it. It seems like most peanut butter pie recipes don't call for any milk. Some call for only a tablespoon or two. The flavor of the pie was fine, it was just the consistency that was bad.

So easy and soooo delicious! I agree with others -- an oreo crust really adds to the combo. I also liked it with chunky peanutbutter, and I used real whipping cream with a little bit of sugar added. yum! Not your low-cal dessert, but oh so worth the extra calories!

I made this (with low fat and lactose free ingredients) for my team at work and it got, by far, the best reviews of anything I've ever brought. One even told me it was "everything [she] dreamed it could be!" :) Easy to make and I LOVE that you don't have to turn on an oven and heat up your house to make it! I decorated mine with a Halloween spider and web, but I could see it being used for any kind of event - fancy or themed! One warning, don't let it thaw too much! It gets messy quick!

I felt like the peanut butter was so heavy it seemed as if I was just eating directly out of the jar.

Awesome!!! I made 2 pies using ready prepared Oreo pie shells and sprinkled with crushed Oreos. I put them in the freezer until they were quite firm. My family LOVED this pie!

Nothing to it. Needs something more like peanuts, fudge sauce, etc...

Gave it 5 stars due to my alterations. First change I made was I used a chocolate cookie pie crust. It was store bought. :) I mixed everything together as directed except for the whipped cream. Before adding the whipped cream I put 1/4 c of the mixture in the pie shell. Then I folded the whipped cream into the remaining mixture making it much lighter. However the consistency was thinner so I popped that bad boy into the freezer, after drizzling chocolate sauce and Reese's on top of course. Lol super yummy and way better than the original version which I also made. :)

Great sweet peanut butter taste. I added some chocolate syrup on the top and think it would be even better with a chocolate marble layer.

This is a very yummy pie! It taste like ice cream. I top it with extra creamy whipped topping and a mixture of powdered sugar and chunky peanut butter to make a crumble for the top and freeze! If you are a peanut butter lover you will love this pie.
