I think that I must have done something wrong, I brought the wet part to a boil, and then poured it over the dry mixture, and it didn't stick or set I guess it would be. I think maybe it should have boiled for a little longer. I then pressed the un-sticky mix in a pan, and made squares. The taste is excellent, I will do this again, but boil it for longer next time. I used almond slices instead. I just prefer them. Also, for the person who said it was too 'peanut buttery'', did you read the ingredients?? If you had, you would have noticed, there is no peanut butter. Thanks for sharing, these were great!

These are peanut butter over load! I did the recipe as is and my daughter wouldn't even eat a second one and my husband took a bite of his and said that he may as well have just eaten a jar of peanut butter. It needed something else!!!

This was so easy and good. My husband's family used to have peanut butter and syrup stirred together and spread on crackers for dessert if there wasn't anything sweet and he said this reminded him of that. I think next time will use chunky peanut butter. The peanuts would have been an added treat.

These were okay--the recipe was easy enough and the "glue" was really rich and had a great flavor-just me wish I had a rice krispie treat

I just finished making these and they taste great. They are sweet so make sure you are in the mood for a lot of sugar. It took a little more time than 25 minutes to make because I didn't want to burn the syrup mixture getting to the soft ball stage. I used two spoons to help mold the mixture into a cookie since it was still hot. If you wait until it cools, then it will already hold together. Save yourself a dish and just add the cornflakes, coconut and pecans to the syrup mixture if you are using a large pan. I'll make this one again.
