The only thing I changed was I used creamy peanut butter instead of chunky. (I don't care for nuts in my cookies) They were great. The family tore them up!

Although these cookies resemble a recipe I made as a child and has since been lost. They lacked in comparison. I am not sure what it was that was different, but I don't remember them having milk. These came out very runny and I had to add more oats to get them to hold together.

This was really easy, fast and fun to make. If you use 1/4 cup of butter, the cookies come out less greasy, dry faster and have more crunch, but with the 1/2 cup, they look more like cookies.

I made these but changed them to be "non-dairy/vegan". Even though they turned out a little dry the next day, I'm still rating as 5 stars. The taste was great and it could have been caused by my changes. I used raw sugar, soy milk, Earth Balance Soy Garden Spread (instead of margarine) and natural peanut butter. They were delicious, even if it was a bit crumbly.

Eco-friendly and time saver idea - I doled out my no bake cookies on silicon baking mats which were on top o wire cooling racks. This saved time in cooling, and nothing to throw away! I also used real butter, stirred constantly throughout cooking, used creamy peanut butter, and 3 1/2 C oats. Turned out much better....

YUM! I've made these cookies several times. I like my no bakes cold so I usually freeze them after dropping them on a cookie sheet. My husband loves them this way as well. They stay chewing when you do this. Delish!!

Oh YES YES YES!!! Finally, the perfect chocolate oatmeal no bake cookie! I've been trying to find a recipe that doesn't crumble by the next day. These are actually chewy and set up so nicely. I used creamy pnb, boiled for 2 minutes, and 3 1/2 cups oatmeal-per others recommendations. I'm so excited, this is my quick chocolate fix, with added nutrition by way of oatmeal. That makes it alright to pig out, right?

I lost my old recipe for these cookies & I wanted to make them so I decided to try this recipe. It tastes just the same as the ones I used to make (as far as I can tell haha), & everyone loves them! Thanks for a great recipe!

Maybe 3.5 stars. It is easy and you can't go wrong with cocoa and peanut butter, but there are other no bake cookies that I think are better on this site.

We make these all of the time. THIS IS THE BEST RECIPE ON THE SITE. I have doubled the PB, used crunchy and smooth, I have doubled the chocolate, I have used dark chocolate. I have used 1/2 the white sugar. They always turn out great regardless of the choices you make. If you want a more candy like cookie then boil for one min only, you may want to freeze. If you want a drier cookie, then boil a little longer. YUMMY and EASY.

First time I made these, they didn't set and were gooey and sticky. They tasted good so I thought I would try it again. I read the reviews and I tried again. This time they came out crumbled and brittle. So I give up, I'm sure if you can get them right they would be wonderful, but 4 cups of sugar later, I'll stick to the ones I put in the oven.

This is my first attempt at no bake cookies.. I followed the advice of the other reviews. I pre-measured all my ingredients. When the sugar/cocoa/milk/margerine hit the boiling point, I started my one minute timer. I used creamy peanut butter because that is what I had on hand. These were way too sweet & rich! No one would eat them in my home.
