oops! i forgot the margarine and i used rolled oats instead of quick cooking. no one in my house seemed to care. both kids and adults scarfed them up. great treat for a 'hot' bay area day (98 degrees).

These were very good. I love the rich chocolate and peanut butter taste. They were very moist, but a bit crumbly and messy when eating.

I've made this numerous times, usually with butter instead of marg. This last time I used ICBINB and soy milk, as I had run out of reg. milk and butter. Still turned out great. Reminds me of the ones my mom made growing up!

My first no bake cookie recipe and it turned out great. Will definitely make again. I did use real butter and about 1/2 a cup more oatmeal than the recipe called for.

Awesome recipe! My family used the cookies to bring to a cook out and everybody loved them! Next time, I will use smooth peanut butter, but over all it was a GREAT recipe!!!

I've tried several different No-Bake recipes over the years and this one is perfection! The cookies set up, but retain their fudginess, they hold together, but are melt-in-your-mouth, and they are splendidly easy to make, but taste like they should have been complicated. Superb!

I made these EXACTLY as written and they got hard in the saucepan before I could even get them on the wax paper. I tried to pile it all into a 9x13 and smash them down while they were still hot in hopes of cutting them into bars, but that didn't work either. Don't know how everyone else had such good luck.

This was exactly what I was looking for! Obviously so was the rest of my family, we didn't made it through the one hour wait though. Used smooth pb, no xtra oats, perfect, just the way they are. My new fav, for sure. Just a little note, I messed up on the first batch and they looked a bit dry, so I just added some more milk until they started sticking together properly. I know some of the reviews said they were dry, so if this happens to you just add milk until it looks right.

Very very good recipe, and so easy to make! I used a square of baker's chocolate instead of cocoa since I didn't have any. I used creamy peanut butter instead of crunchy and used real butter. My bosses loved them, as did my boyfriend. :)

I give this recipe 5 stars! This is the best no bake recipe I have made, the ratio of ingredients must be just right in order for them to set up. I added about a cup of marshmallows with the oats just for fun, and it was fantastic. Will definitely use this recipe every time I make no-bake cookies. Thanks!

Easy, quick and delicious!! I did up the oats to 3 1/2 cups, used butter & reduced my sugar to 1 1/2 cups (they are still plenty sweet). I had a tin of fat free evaporated milk to use up, so used that instead of regular milk. All in all, very yummy...my 3 boys and my nephew all enjoyed these for a snack this afternoon with a cold glass of milk!!

I love these cookies! I used butter instead of margerine and creamy pb instead of crunchy because that is what I had. Cooked mine exactly how it says for one minute after it boils (which to me means rolling boil, otherwise it would say starts to boil if they wanted it sooner).

Super easy to make. I needed a recipe for some birthday cookies and this was perfect. I did feel like I needed to add more oats but I just tossed in a handful or so more. Easy, easy, easy...and tasty too.

These were perfect, exactly as written. I boiled, stirring constantly, for 90 seconds from the start of boil. They set very quickly and easily and were delicious. I think a double batch will be necessary next time.
