these were sooo good! I used crunchy peanut butter and the peanuts made it great. :)

These were the best no bakes I've ever had. I did decrease the cooking time. I brought it to a boil and then timed 45 seconds. It's a personal preference though. I like mine good and soft and not set up hard. Good recipe!

So yummy! My mom made these all the time when I was young, but hers were always a little dry. This recipe is perfect!

My husband and son love these cookies. I like that you can taste the peanut butter in them. These were easy to make. Like others, I recommend boiling an extra minute for a firmer set up.

These were fantastic and easy to make with kids. I did have to make some substitutions with the ingredients. I used brown sugar instead of white, was out of vanilla, and used organic peanut butter (sometimes this doesn't work as well in recipes, but worked fine in this one). I let the mix come to a rolling boil before timing, then I let them go for a minute and a half before mixing in the other ingredients. Next time I might try using 1/2 the butter and subbing in 1/2 virgin coconut oil and maybe adding some toasted coconut.

These are great! Only thing is I let the mixture boil an extra minute for a firmer hold.

I made these tonight for a church function. They were all gone. I never got to try one. But my husband said this recipe is a keeper.

I always used another recipe that said 90 seconds, and I tried this today to see if it worked better. It needs at least 90 seconds, if not 2 minutes. I made these for a neighbor, and they turned out mushy and too sweet. Definitely boil for at least 90 seconds, and cut the sugar by about half a cup. Then they'll be wonderful!

This is the best no bake cookie I have tried. Not too much cocoa lets you really taste the peanut butter and chocolate together. Highly recommend this recipe

These are a family favorite. We've been making them our whole lives. You don't have a family party without "Mess Cookies". The only problem is that the recipe has been a little muddled, passing verbally from one person to the next. No one could agree on the cooking times, so I started testing. The key to the no bake cookies is the boil time. You MUST have your mix at a hard boil (you stir and the boiling isn't reduced). Do not time before this point and only cook at a rolling boil for 1 minute. If you cook it at the wrong time, you will either get hard dry cookies or very gooey cookies that will NOT set up (thus our naming them Messy). This recipe has all the portions correctly. It is excellent :D

My 17 year old has been requesting these for the last week. Kinda funny really as I don't think I have made them since she was much younger. Last night I made them and she loved them. They were dull looking and not glossy, must have over stirred a little, but definitely hasn't affected the taste! Just like my Mom used to make when I was a kid!

I made this today for the 2nd time and made the following changes because it wasn't chocolaty enough last time: 1/4 c plus 1 TBS of cocoa powder. Otherwise I followed exactly and they are awesome! Just like my mom's (I keep losing her recipe!)Thanks for the recipe! They didn't get hard and crumbly, just smooth and glossy and yummy! :-)

I've made no-bake cookies for the past few track meets(about 6x in past 3 weeks). This recipe is pretty good, but no bake cookies V is better and kids liked that one more than this one.

These cookies were so easy to make. I made no changes to the recipe except boil for 3 minutes instead of one. I do have to admit that next time I make these I'll try boiling for 2 minutes. They were still. A hit but I would have liked them a little chewier. Thanks for the recipe. Definitely a keeper!
