Our men and women overseas love this recipe, have been sending it to them since 2000. Don't worry about how they fare in shipment. They will eat them, but you can wrap individually and they hold there shape.

I LOVE the taste of these! 4 stars because mine came out a little mushy. They should be more formed. I would also like a recipe with less sugar.

Turned out great! Just like classic no-bake cookies should be. I made mine extra rich because I was out of milk and had some cream left over from another recipe. Wonderful!

SO good! I boiled for a full minute at a rolling boil and they turned out perfectly. I did 1/4 c. less sugar but they still turned out great!

I cut the recipe in half which still made plenty of half dollar size cookies for my family of three. I brought to a boil and then timed for 1 minute, should have been a full 2 maybe 2 1/2 minutes as they are very sticky. They have to remain in the fridge. The taste of these is spot on though, just like my mom used to make for me!

I took note of the following recommendations: I used coconut milk, increased the PB, decreased the white sugar and rapidly boiled for just under two minutes. My cookies sat in the fridge overnight and are greasy and mushy. The flavor is nice, but who wants mushy cookies? I'll stick with cranking my oven - even in 90* weather.

I shouldn't call these cookies, more like a chocolate candy. Very rich. My husband didn't like them, (too sweet)When the mixture boiled, I didn't stirr any more, boiled for 3 minutes. After putting in the oats, pn butter and vanilla, I stirred very well and fast. The cookies set up very fast and they are beautifully shining. Next time I will try adding some peppermint extract instead of vanilla.

this is the same recipe that a friend gave me years back. I followed the advise of many other reviews and boiled the mixture for a full 2 minutes at a rolling boil and they set up very well (better than I had ever made them before!)

These turned out good. I followed KIRVIN's advice for cooking them in the microwave and it worked fine. The only other thing I did differently was that I poured the whole thing in a 9x13 pan and cut them into squares when cooled. Fast and easy and I didn't have to heat up my house :)

I give this recipe 4 stars b/c the cookies were very tasty, but the consistency was far too soft. We had to eat them with a spoon. I followed the recipe except I used only 1 1/2c sugar as recommended by many reviewers. I followed the detailed instruction given by a "most helpful" reviewer to allow the mixture to come to a rapid boil and then time it for one minute, but this was not long enough. I will try boiling for 2 minutes next time.

I have a version of this that only calls for 1 1/2 C sugar & it tastes just as good. You do have to boil for at least 2 minutes to get the right consistency.

These were very easy to make. I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but I didn't really like them. Maybe add some raisins? Hubby liked them but agreed they "needed something" I probably won't make them again.

So easy to make! Other than adding a bit more cocoa (we like our chocolate!) I made this as written and they came out great. It's almost like eating fudge.

we have used this recipe for years in my family, except we never used salt, and I always found that putting them in the fridge always helped them turn out better, and that way they end up shiny no matter how much you stir it. And i know this is labeled cookies, but at my house we almost always just pour the stuff into bowls and eat it that way. If we dont finish then we cover it with aluminum foil and stick it in the fridge.

I love making these cookies, but HATE the spooning out, so I just put them a lighlty greased baking dish(the size depends on how thick you want the cookies)and let them cool. Enjoy!!!
