I learned to make these a long time ago, but lost my recipe in my many moves. Only one thing I change: depending on the moisture in the kitchen and outside I add a little bit more oatmeal to dry it out a bit. 1 minute has always been enough, even though humidity has killed many of these cookies :)

I made these yesterday and they were fantastic! Super easy and you cannot mess it up. I boiled for 1 minute. The time really doesn't make a difference, I don't think. just make sure it's a rolling boil!

These 'No-Bakes' are fantastic! I make them sometimes by omitting the chocolate when I am having a peanut butter craving, and call them 'Peanut Butter No-Bakes'. Again, great recipe!

Sorry! I followed the recipe and mine were dry and kind of crumbly : ) I was really looking for a new recipe that makes the kind of no-bakes that spread out some on the wax paper and not stayed in a ball or lump. I'll keep looking! Thanks anyway!

Soft - not runny, Chewey and delicious! I added the cocoa when I put in the oatmeal, used natural peanut butter and unsalted butter. My family recipe for no-bakes had 1 cup of coconut stirred in with the oatmeal and NO peanut butter. In the end - it's ALL GOOD

First time the cookies came out too soft because I boiled them for 1 min. So I had made a ball out of each cookies and dipped in coconut flakes. They were pretty and delicious. Next time I boiled them for about 2 min. Came out great, candy-like cookies. Thanks for the recipe!

This is my favorite no bake cookie recipe! I have made these for a few of my family gatherings, and there are never any left. I would definitely boil them for 2 minutes though. Thanks for the recipe.

Yeah....the one minute rule-thank you for that! I've made these before with another recipe and they tend to get dry...but followed someones advice to stick to the one minute of boiling and these were perfect! My son says they are his favorite now and keeps asking me to make them again! So easy too.

I altered this recipe to make it dairy free for my son who is very allergic. I substituted butter flavored shortening for the margarine and vanilla soy milk for the milk in the same amounts. I made it according the recipe otherwise and they turned out great. Almost as good as the original. Set up great and everything. Thanks for the recipe!

These taste good...but I've made them twice now. My son is allergic to milk so I used soy milk the first time and they didn't firm up. I used rice milk today and they still didn't firm up. It could be the dairy free margarine I used too. It's the same type I always bake with. Who knows! Tasted good, way gooey.

Easy is right. Almost TOO easy, because these are a fast way to satisfy those cravings for chocolate that would probably be best not satisfied. I remembered these from my childhood, and was happy to find a recipe that scales down perfectly. Soooo good!
