Great recipe! Perfect flavor! Be sure to stay at the sauce pan when mixture coming to a boil and stir constantly. Don't over cook or they will turn out gritty. Thanks for sharing the recipe! :)

It may have been something I did, but these never really solidified. However, they tasted pretty yummy.

One tip that always helps me turn out a perfect no-bake: Throw in 3 or 4 large marshmallows just when the mixture starts to simmer. As soon as they are completely melted in, it is done. Turn off the heat and add the rest of your ingredients. Perfect every single time.

This has been a standard recipe around our house for years. These days we tweak it a bit. We use one tblsp of black cocoa with three tblsp of dutched cocoa to give it a darker, richer look. We also split the chunky peanut butter half and half with nutella, and to make up for the lost chunkyness of the peanut butter, we toss in a handful of roasted cocao nibs. We also usually toss in a handful of chocolate chips into the final mix. They melt as you stir and give the cookies a bit more of a glossy texture

AHHHHHH! THE ULTIMATE CRAVING FOOD! I just made these just as I did when I was a teenager. It was a sudden craving and in the middle of it I found out that I only had 2 cups of oats. Determined now I found some Rice Crispies and added 1 1/2 cups of that along with a little shredded coconut. They taste great! The hardest part with these cookies is waiting to let them set up before eating them. One soft one is already missing!... So glad you had this old recipe! Thanks!

I used to make these cookies with my grandmother when I was a kid, they're actually really fantastic. I just made a batch using this recipe, seems to be spot-on. Awesome.

This is the same recipe we made as kids, its all about the boiling time!!! You really have to watch it. If you put a drop of hot boiling mixture into cool water and it sets up into a firm ball your good to pull it off the heat.

This cookie recipe was featured on the PBS children's show ZOOM back in the 70's. The first cookie I made on my own and I have been SEARCHING for the recipe for a long time. SO glad to have found it!

I've made no bake cookies for years and always turn to them for comfort food. I never have had a recipe written down so I always end up on the internet looking for one. Today I ran into this one and I'll definitely be putting this one in my recipe file! The addition of extra peanut butter and coconut as a previous reviewer suggested made these already wonderful cookies, even more wonderful. These are the absolute best!

I have to deal with many food allergies and I found a way to make these cookies. I substituted the milk for vanilla rice milk, the butter for coconut oil, and the peanut butter for cashew butter. I also used 3 Tbs. of regular cocoa and 1 Tbs. of dark chocolate coco. These cookies tasted so good! If you or a family member has a dairy, peanut, egg, wheat, soy, or corn allergy it is a great way to have some chocolate cookies without those ingredients. Still read the ingredients especially the cashew butter incase it was made in a factory that also makes peanut butter. Do not use any other oil in place of coconut oil! Coconut oil is in a solid form unless it is warmer than 72 degrees.

AWESOME!! I like that these have a little less sugar than your average no bake cookie, it makes them taste so much richer.

Just made this recipe. VERY good. No crumbling, super quick & easy. My sisters boyfriend last night was talking about how these are his favorite cookie & no one made them like his grandmother who is no longer living. I am gonna suprise him with them tonight.

I really loved this recipe. Its very similiar to recipe my Mother always used. I also added 3/4 cup of Coconut and 1/4 cup more of peanut butter. Wow what a difference that makes. The coconut really adds flavor (thanks for the idea). Great Recipe!!! My husband even ate them and he hates chocolate haha.

Excellent recipe for no bakes!! The crunchy peanut butter adds the taste of nuts which is nice. The consistency is moist but they firm up nicely as they cool.

Great texture, so easy and quick to make! After many no-bake failures, I've learned that you have to use 1-minute quick oats, and that it is SOOOO important to have all of the ingredients ready and to have the wax paper prepared on the counter. Once you turn on the stove there isn't much time to waste.
